How's SCII?

Just wondering how everyone is enjoying SCII. Is it everything we hoped for? All units well implemented? Graphically awe-inspiring? Does Blizzard still know what they're doing?

play it for your self man, get one of the 7 hour game pass's from someone that bought the game. Once you log in to bnet with that registerd key, log out to the main menu, than play as gues offline, it will not count as 7 hours, and you can play the single player for 14 days. thats what im doin, to get the story mode down, and than if i still like it im goin to buy it.

Meh i was playing the beta so i didnt go grab my copy yet since i got bored of it during the beta phase. unless they changed a whole lot since then i can say it is a good game but they ruined alot of things which in turn makes it not soo fun to play. I.E if you like zerg they got nerf'd to shit, Terran reaper rush is soo imba as is the medivac marine maruader combo. Protoss void rays and Collosus combo is also imba. And worst of all they fuck over the UMS (use map settings) soo no more bunker D or Nexus destroyers. maybe ill go grab my copy in a few weeks

The campaign is all sorts of awesome. I hate the auto balance match making for 2v2s though, it keeps teaming me up with complete noobs who don't know what a marine is, vs 2 guys who are very pro.

I think most of the dudes on here are playing SCII now. They were playing LOL for a while though. I'm just waiting for FFXIV, cuz I'm not into the whole RTS thing anymore. Glad to hear you and the g/f are doing well.

thanks tell me how FFXIV is, if it was on par as 11 but has a player base ill check it out. id be on hella casual due to school but still id be on mostly nights weekends.

No problem bro. I'm sure it'll have a stronger player base than XI, mostly because it's much less time intensive and more casual-focused. I think a better portion of our members will be semi-casual anyway, possibly even me!

If a better portion of our members are casual I am not going to be happy.

Haha blame SE for that one, Mark! That fatigue system is pretty much forcing us to go that way. I for one won't have the time to play as much as I used to, but I'll definitely be around when I can. At least enough to annoy the hell out of you!

I mean end-game. Once people get their levels and we begin farming things that are on timers, I will be extremely irritated if we only have a handful of people showing up. And yes, the fatigue system IS pushing people to be more casual, but so far in the Open Beta, Seth and Chris as far as I know, and it was brought up today, have yet to feel the fatigue system. ANd that is the same for Jake when I talked to him three days ago.

I think recruitment will be fully open no matter what game we launch with. Hard to keep the same "core", working just as cohesively from one game to another perfectly. No matter what happens, people's lives change from time to time, so I think we'll have a mix with our current core of people, but open recruitment with any new launch is inevitable.

Yeah, good points all around. I think things will pick up after the release, but lots of folks will be avoiding the early release so we might not see full numbers until after the 30th.
